Vision & Mission Statement

Called and gathered by the grace of God, Messiah Lutheran Church is committed to serve our Lord Jesus Christ, its members, our community, and God’s world. We aspire to provide a dynamic and welcoming environment where worship, prayer, spiritual formation, personal interaction, and meaningful service all inspire and challenge people to lives of devotion, goodwill and peace.

At Messiah Church, God’s people experience the love of God, grow in love for one another, express holiness in daily living, and share the joy of belonging to Christ as people who celebrate God’s gifts of life and faith. Rejoicing in God’s love, we freely share that love with all people, that they, too, may know God, find meaning in life, and embrace eternal hope.

The Mission of Messiah Lutheran Church is:
“To bring Christ to people and people to Christ”.

The Holy Communion is open to all baptized believers who trust that Christ is present in the Sacrament. Parents are welcome to bring infants and young children forward to receive a blessing. Instructions for receiving Holy Communion are provided in your worship bulletin.

Worship begins with a time for prayer and preparation as the Prelude is played.
